Warp Esports was founded by warp.slick in 2022, created to pursue a passion project of creating a gaming community under his own image. The organization started as a humble discord server and is now rapidly developing into a community of gamers who share the same interests. The side project of Warp Esports, DragonSMP, was founded in 2024 after warp.slick was looking for a way to create the same community as Warp Esports but specifically in the game of Minecraft. This project was a much quicker success, hosting a modded Minecraft server with over 20 active players in the small community.
